I have always been a pretty happy and positive person. I feel like I am in decent shape, my family eats well for the most part and I am engaged with my community. But I had this nagging feeling that something was missing. Megan helped me create a vision for the next phase of my life and plan a roadmap to get me there. We used the structured MegaWell approach to future-cast and visualize where I wanted to be several years from now. We then evaluated what would need to change in my life for me to achieve that vision. And finally we broke down those changes into concrete yearly, monthly and weekly goals that were attainable and allowed me to be accountable for the change I wanted to achieve.
My work with MegaWell focused mainly on connections. After my kids went to high school and I wasn’t as involved in school programs, I had found myself feeling isolated. I wasn’t getting out much and was generally feeling low energy. Megan taught me the power of identifying the things that mattered to me and making a conscious effort to reconnect with them. It was easy to use the four P’s of connection to zero in on how to re-energize my relationships to the people, places, passions and purpose that make me happy.
